 | | Mick Trevaskis Director of Sales and Marketing | On completion of his Diploma and graduating as a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Nursing), Michael commenced his medical career as a Registered Nurse in Melbourne and over the next four years gained his highly valuable clinical experience via his Oncology specialty. Michael then left nursing to run a family business in country Victoria where he developed a desire to pursue a career in business and sales. In August 1998 Michael commenced his employment with Device Technologies as the Orthopaedic product specialist for Victoria and Tasmania, before being offered the position as Orthopaedic Product Manager and eventually National Business Manager Orthopaedics in August 1999. Michael was elevated to the role of National Sales Manager with Device Technologies Australia in January 2003 and in November 2006 accepted his new role as Director Sales and Marketing and now assumes responsibility for the entire sales and marketing management team within the company. | |

She was involved in the introduction of landmark cardiac stenting procedures and developed a strong interest in innovative technologies. Following two years of overseas travel, Ruth joined a significant medical device distribution company, initially as a Product Manager and later as General Manager of a division. During this time Ruth completed a Diploma of Marketing and Management and a Certificate of Strategic Business Development. In 1993, Ruth joined Device Technologies assisting in product management and developing regulatory affairs and quality assurance programmes. As the company grew she took on national responsibility to a key business area and now is the company's Business Development Manager. She is responsible for all new product assessments and their inclusion into existing product portfolios, including contractual negotiations. | |
