The Eureka Climb… again!
D-Day Sunday 13th November.
Device Technologies is proud of the 8 staff members who undertook the 2011 Eureka Climb to the top of Eureka Tower in Melbourne. They all completed the challenge – 88 levels, 1642 steps and 300 metres of vertical elevation and raised $4,110.00 in sponsorship for the Interplast and Whitelion charities.
Congratulations on a great effort for a worthy cause – the girls came in 5th on the fundraising leaderboard and the guys 20th. Even more meritorious was the pain endured by some members who presented on the day despite a lack of preparation and PB’s were recorded by those who completed the climb in 2010.
2011 participants:
Guys – Brett Logan, Nat McLay, Marc Lapira and Heath Priestly
Girls – Aggie Cox, Lisa Kirsch, Merredea Hudgson and Trisha Atkinson
It’s always easier next time, so we encourage Melbourne staff to join in for the 2012 “Climb”.
The team wishes to thank everyone who sponsored their efforts this year.
