Vacuklav 23-B

Vacuklav 23-B+

The Vacuklav 23-B is a ”class B" autoclave according to the European standard EN 13060 and therefore absolutely fit for the future.

It works according to the fractionated pre-vacuum method. This means: At first the air is evacuated from the chamber with a very effective vacuum pump. Then there is a repeated intake of steam which is always immediately pumped out again. The result is that at the beginning of the actual sterilization, there is no longer any air in the chamber or in wrapped hollow-instruments or in textiles which would endanger the success of the sterilization.

The Vacuklav is equipped with a fractionated post vacuum for effective drying as a prerequisite for long-term storage of packaged sterilized materials.

Sensors and an innovative microprocessor control regulate and monitor the parameters necessary for a secure sterilization pressure and temperature.

The Vacuklav 23-B offers 4 Sterilization programs, as well as 2 Test programs.

Universal-Program 134°C / 2 bar
Vacuum-Test
Quick-Program 134°C / 2 bar Bowie&Dick-Test
Prion-Program 134°C / 2 bar
Gentle-Program 121°C / 1 bar

The Vacuklav 23-B is designed as a “stand alone” device and only needs a power supply. Without any further installation the autoclave can be operated by its built-in water storage tank for demineralized water and for used water separately. For a more pleasant operating the Vacuklav can be connected with the water treatment system MELAdem 40 or MELAdem 47 to a water source and drain. The supply of demineralized water and the drain of the used water will happen automatically.

The required documentation of the sterilization cycles is carried out over the built-in interface connection to the report printer MELAprint 42 or to the connection to the practice PC. The documentation software MELAwin developed by MELAG is required for this.

Additionally, it is possible to connect the MELAflash CF Card Printer used to save the sterilization records on the MELAflash CF Card. The sterilization records can be read out on every PC with the MELAflash CF-Card reader.

The batch control can very easily and low-priced be carried out with the Helix test specimen MELAcontrol. The documentation of the release is carried out with the MELAdoc system, consisting of the documentation pages and the MELAdoc label printer for sterilization packagings.

Vacuklav autoclaves are delivered with a mount for trays or cassettes included in the price of the autoclave. Combi mount C (for 6 trays or 3 standard-tray-cassettes) will be delivered as standard. Likewise different sterilization containers are available.
