Manufactured by Bentley, the BeFlared is the world’s first dedicated bridging stent for complex Fenestrated EndoVascular Aneurysm Repair (FEVAR) procedures.

It is designed for precise, one-step deployment. Featuring an innovative stepped balloon that reduces procedural complexity, along with an extra radiopaque marker for enhanced accuracy, it represents a significant advancement in endovascular technology.

Since the first-in-human procedure performed by Prof. Stéphan Haulon in Paris in late 2024, BeFlared stents have been implanted worldwide, including 384 in Australia under special access, demonstrating outstanding usability and improved patient outcomes. Reports from leading specialists confirm that the device streamlines fenestrated endografting, reducing both procedural and fluoroscopy time.

Lisa Kirsch, Director of Sales, Surgical and Hospital at Device Technologies, said: “We’re thrilled to see BeFlared included on the ARTG. It’s a great moment for both the medical community and the patients who benefit from innovations like this. Device Technologies is proud to be part of a team that’s enabling these advancements and supporting doctors in pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in vascular care.”
